The Queen Consort of Romalia, Erica Jestina Gardenia de Romalia rules as the country’s sole monarch with the blessings of her husband; Majus de Romalia, the rightful heir to the throne. Equally loved and despised by her people and the world, Erica is a controversial ruler who faces both constant backlash and support at every step. After spending several hundred years beneath her mother’s thumb, she strives to rectify the wrongs committed by her family. Just as she strictly parents her own children, Erica rules Romalia with an iron grip. Through her rule, she forces Romalia to do and be better, despite the backlash from those who wish for Romalia to reinstate itself as an Empire.

Silent and watchful, with a stare as hot as the sun. Erica’s unforgiving upbringing molded her into a stoic and imposing figure crafted for battle. Those who know her closely claim to not truly know her at all, always held at a distance. There is a wall between Erica’s true self and the world.

The season of the sun, the heat of the longest days warming her bones and scales. Erica thrives in the arid temperatures of summertime.
Chocolate
She’s not much for sweets, but she has a soft spot for chocolate confections.
Meditation/Prayer
Each morning, Erica undergoes Sun Prayer, exposing every ounce of her flesh and soul to the Sun Goddess.
Quiet
Peace and quiet were foreign for her in her youth. These days she seeks solitude beneath the sun.

Nobility
There is no excuse for the atrocities committed by those of higher stature. Why is it that the decisions of one self-important person can destroy the lives of millions? It is not just, and it should never be allowed to happen.
Winter
Despite her humanoid form, her Draconis lineage leaves her susceptible in winter time. Cold weather makes her sluggish and tired. The Romalian palace has intricate heating systems throughout to combat this.
Evil
It goes without saying that any good, sane person would dislike evil, but for Erica, every fiber of her being screams at the slightest of sin.

A card she plays both with purpose and by accident, Erica is an unquestionably imposing figure. It would take guts or stupidity to stand against her.

Erica believes her survival and victory over her mother’s rule were prayers granted by the Sun Goddess, Honora. She has become one of Honora’s most devout worshipers. Through the scales of balance or justice, her faith gives her the strength she needs to see through leading Romalia to a brighter future.
POWERFUL
In both her humanoid and animal forms, Erica exudes great physical prowess, though her truest strength comes in her dragon body.
TACTFULNESS
There’s a reason Erica survived all she endured. Facing death numerous times, it was her clever mind that kept her alive.

COLD
Despite her station as Queen of Romalia, a country known for its blessings from the Sun Goddess, Erica does not exude its warmth. Rather, she is seen by many as cold and ruthless.
RIGID
She rules and parents with an iron grip, a believer in stark good and bad. Erica will not allow anyone to change her mind, nor will she ever allow her children or nation to become evil.
IMPENETRABLE
Not many know who Erica is behind the stony wall she has erected.
Summary
Childhood
Her first memories were of bloodshed and cruelty. Born to The Tyrant Queen, Lycoris de Romalia, Erica was raised to become a killer, and one of many potential heirs to the throne. Lycoris was a member of a distant branch family, a keeper of the Great Library in Solis, Romalia’s largest city. However, Lycoris believed her bloodline to be the rightful lineage of the Romalian throne, and she ultimately took the crown by force. Erica was one of her many children to aid in the coupe. However, Erica defied her mother through one key action: saving the youngest son of the crown family, Majus de Romalia.
Looking Forward
After befriending Paridesea de Remine, the crown Princess of a neighboring country, the two, with Majus, staged a coup against Lycoris. It was successful. During the uprising, most of Lycoris’s branch family, who had been loyal to her evils, were assassinated by Reminese troops as Erica battled her mother to the death. With both Majus’s line and Erica’s nearly extinct, this left the Romalian lineage fragile. However, Erica and Majus would find comfort in their shared histories, and the lineage would live on through them once love bloomed. Erica would become the rightful Queen of Romalia after wedding Majus, and now acts as the primary Monarch of Romalia. However, many remain suspicious of her rule, for in their minds, she is still the daughter of The Tyrant.
